It's been a while since I made an "official" post. It seems that as soon as my ArtSpin reception was over I packed up my bags and started touring the country for my day job.
Halfway through, I decided to start a new section (with a little bit of inspiration from a favorite site as you'll see). It's called :: Wake Up and is intended to chronicle some of the amazing (and not so amazing) views I wake up to as I travel for work and pleasure.
I also had a lot of free time in our northerly neighbors capital and took some photos as I biked around Ottawa for 12 days. Take a look here.
Thank you for continuing to visit the site even during my long silence. I'm working on a few new pieces that I can't wait to unveil.

The Art Spin 2009 arts reception will be held at the University Town Center in Lofts 22 (across from the movie theater) in Hyattsville between 6- 10 PM.
To get your $5 per person tickets in advance (it's $7 at the door), you have the following options: buy on line via PayPal from the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation website (www.hycdc.org), or at Franklin's Brewery or Joe's Movement Emporium.
Ticket Purchase entitles you to free wine or beer, the enjoyment of great music & art, and discounts to the following local Town Center area vendors: Gifford's Ice Cream & Candy, Hank's Tavern & Eats, New Town Cleaners, Old Dominion Brewhouse, Wild Onion, Qdoba, Three Brothers, and Smoothie King!

_Exhibition: Art Spin

I'm excited to announce I'll be exhibiting some of my work at this year's Art Spin. This event is an extravaganza of local musicians, art auctions and exhibits, food and wine or beer tasting. The City of Hyattsville and the surrounding area is full of talented artists and this show promises to be an eclectic collection. I hope you will join us at the opening reception & art sale.
For those of you who can't make it though, the artwork will remain on display for six additional weeks with open gallery hours. I'll be posting photos from the reception as well for your viewing pleasure.
